Licensed Clinical Social Worker # 87679 (CA), # 083416 (NY)

As an out trans and queer-identified therapist, I’m dedicated to providing a safe therapeutic space for transgender, gender expansive, gender diverse, queer, and questioning identified clients as well as their chosen and bio families. My practice serves to fill a critical need in creating competent, affirming, accessible care for our community.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with licensure in California and New York. I started my practice in NYC in 2016 and expanded to full-time practice in both states in 2021.

My work centers individuals 18+ navigating issues related to coming out, social and medical transition, interpersonal, familial, and intimate partner relationship dynamics.

My client-therapist relationships center collaboration, support, and acceptance. Theoretically, I approach our alliance from psychodynamic, relational, and systems lenses. We will explore how your lived experience impacts and yields performance and participation in the world around you. I work towards actively acknowledging how intersectional identities and systems of oppression impact these experiences.

Prior to private practice, I had the privilege to work in urban public school settings, first as a School Social Worker and later, Clinical Services Liaison for Harvey Milk High School (HMHS) and Hetrick-Martin Institute (HMI) in NYC. I provided direct therapy services and case management for hundreds of LGBTQ+ youth. My role directly informed their mission to promote a nurturing and inclusive educational environment where queer and gender expansive youth obtain skills to live successful, independent lives.

Upon moving to Los Angeles in 2018, I joined the Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD) as a Psychiatric Social Worker. I supported students and families with social-emotional wellness skills and strategies, provided clinical and crisis counseling, linked students and families to community and mental health resources, and conducted Social Emotional Learning (SEL) workshops for faculty and staff.

My practice is located in Echo Park in East LA. I currently offer virtual sessions in California and New York.
